- Await an SMS: SASSA will send another SMS when your grant payment is prepared. This SMS has a unique code.
- Visit ShopRite: Visit any shop with your South African ID papers and mobile. Locate the Money Market Counter at ShopRite. Find out where this counter is by asking a ShopRite worker.
- Give your details to the cashier: Inform the cashier that you want to pick up your SASSA award. Please give them the unique code from the SMS along with your ID document.
- Take receipt of your money: After confirming your details, the cashier will offer you your grant money.
