The application season for the 2025 Unisa Masters and Doctorate program officially began on Monday, September 2, 2024, and will end on November 22, 2024. This allows prospective students to apply to Unisa in over eighty days.
Unisa provides flexible learning alternatives as an Open Distance e-learning (ODeL) college, enabling students to study on their schedule from home. The online test method offered by the institution increases accessibility even more.

Who Must Apply For Admission?
All those planning to begin a new qualification must apply. This comprises:

- Presently, Unisa students are pursuing different degrees.
- Students who plan to start a master’s or doctorate after finishing their present requirements.
- Master’s and PhD candidates who had previously registered but did not enroll for the 2024 school year but still want to further their education.
In contrast to undergraduate Unisa applications, master’s and doctorate applicants are only permitted to apply for a single qualification.

Unless they have previously studied at Unisa towards a formal certificate, anyone registering for qualifications via the Graduate School of Business Leadership (GSBL) must first apply for a Unisa student number. Online applications are accepted for the entire procedure.

Documents Needed For Unisa 2024 Applications:
Students must supply the necessary supporting documentation. Typically, this will be a:
- a copy of your current passport or ID,
- total academic records, if not the Unisa requirements
- The ledger and, if applicable for international qualifications, the SAQA certificate of evaluation
- Research overview (except the curriculum requirements for the MBA, MBL, LLM, and MCom programs in industrial psychology).
Unisa notes that needed papers will be indicated in red on the upload platform and that international students may apply without providing the SAQA certificate of evaluation on application.
