What is Required to Access Funds?
To access the eFundi website, you just need two tools, which are:

How to use the eFundi Login?
The nine steps below will let you access the North West University learning management system’s eFundi login.
- Open your internet browser. You must use the most recent version of your browser, per system requirements.
- For optimal experience, you should use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
- Efundi.nwu.ac.za can be typed or clicked in the address field (where you typically see a website URL).
- Press the enter key on your keyboard.
- It will show the eFundi login page.
- In the upper right corner of the computer screen, there is a “Login” button. Just give it a click.
- Your login credentials will now need to be entered.
- Enter your student number from NWU in the Username field.
- You’ll see the Login button and want to click on it.
If this is your first time logging in, enter your password and username, which is your eight-digit NWU student number. Your South African ID number will be your password at first, followed by “@Nwu.” Your passport number, followed by “@Nwu,” is your password for foreign students, which includes Namibian students—for instance, 9103265869028@Nwu. In ninety days, your password will expire. You must get a new password or change your old one before this date.
Reset Password:
On the eFundi homepage, select Reset Password (before logging in). Click the link and provide the following details in the system to obtain a new password: Your phone number or email address and the number from your student ID or passport.
If this information is consistent with what is on file in your academic record, you will get your password by email or SMS. (Your network will determine how quickly it responds.) To update any inaccurate information, please go to Academic Administration. Kindly change your current password to something easy for you to remember alone.
Choose the appropriate tab for your site or module from the purple navigation bar. The selected tab will become grey after you have accessed the website. Program names and codes differ from one another. Note: Use the Sites dropdown menu to check what’s missing if the site or module you’re looking for isn’t mentioned in the purple tab. Please note that each module includes a tool menu on the left side of the screen. Each item on the menu is called a tool.
eFundi Login Troubleshoots:
Before contacting your IT department for assistance, consider the following troubleshooting steps if you are experiencing problems logging into your portal.
- Verify that Caps Lock and your password are either off or on for the website you want to visit.
- Your browser’s cache and cookies need to be cleared.
- Before trying to enter your student portal again, make sure your device is connected and your internet connection is working.
- Use a VPN only in dire circumstances.
