SASSA Appeal 2024:
If the (SASSA) rejects your application for the R350 award, you have a specific time window to file an appeal. After receiving a denial, you have 30 days to file an appeal.
They typically will not review an appeal that you submit after the deadline unless a very unusual circumstance led to your delay. It is helpful to have documentation in case something similar occurs (such as having to visit the hospital) since it will explain why you missed the deadline.

- Register or login if you have not already done so.
- On “Track Appeal Status,” click.
- After inputting your ID number, select “Search.”
- Locate your appeal, then select “View Details.”
- You will get an estimated processing schedule along with the current status.

- To 32573, enter your ID number.
- A notification with your appeal status will be sent to you.
Hotline
- Dial 0800 601 011, the SASSA’s toll-free number.
- Give your ID number and, if applicable, the appeal reference number.
- A representative will update your appeal status.
